When I was in Indiana visiting my Mom, it struck me how different things are in the Midwest. I was quite fascinated with how genuinely nice everyone is, as compared to the people in California. But the thing I found most intriguing were the signs.
Hospital Parking Lot
There is a largish Amish community in the area.
This was the Rehab facility my Mom was staying at, after being discharged from the hospital. It is on the campus of a college started by German Nuns. What a beautiful place!
And my favorite, is this one:
I am assuming the owner’s last name is Husband, but this sign does make for some interesting internal conversations.
