When I was in Indiana visiting my Mom, it struck me how different things are in the Midwest. I was quite fascinated with how genuinely nice everyone is, as compared to the people in California. But the thing I found most intriguing were the signs.

Hospital Parking Lot
There is a largish Amish community in the area.
This was the Rehab facility my Mom was staying at, after being discharged from the hospital. It is on the campus of a college started by German Nuns. What a beautiful place!
And my favorite, is this one:
I am assuming the owner’s last name is Husband, but this sign does make for some interesting internal conversations.

Ha ha ha. I love the last one. I wonder if they ever get requests. 🙂
That’s kind of what I was wondering!
The Amish signs are perfect. I’m glad that your mother is in a good care facility and that you got time to visit her. Not because you took fun photos of signs, but that last one is kind of… unique.
As a husband I don’t think I’ll be going to Indiana anytime soon!
Probably not a good idea!!! I wonder if they (the Husbands) stepped back, and really looked at that sign after they put it up?
“Thou shalt not park here” Love it! 😀
Don’t mind me. Just looking for a Snapchat handle…
Husband exterminator? You don’t think the founder thought, hmm, maybe I should use my first name instead?
One has to wonder! But if he had, would some strange blogger have found it interesting enough to post on their website?
Probably not, and I’ll have to admit it’s a memorable name.
